SESSION PREP GUIDE

Take care of yourself. We will take care of the rest.

A calm, simple guide to the weeks and days leading up to your Wild Ridge experience.

START GETTING READY

BEFORE WE BEGIN

This is preparation. It is not a list of things you need to change.

You do not need to lose weight, tan, remove body hair, buy an entirely new wardrobe or suddenly become fearless. Take care of yourself, bring your options and show up as you are. We will help with the rest.

TWO TO FOUR WEEKS BEFORE

Give yourself room to plan.

You do not need every detail figured out today. Start gathering ideas, trying things on and asking questions while there is still plenty of room to change your mind.

01Start building your Boudoir Go Bag

Save the looks you are curious about and add photos of pieces you already own. Bring the maybes too. We will help narrow everything down.

02Order anything new early

Leave enough time to try it on, move around and exchange it. The size on the tag does not matter. How it fits and feels does.

03Try on every possible look

Sit, bend, raise your arms and walk around. If you can move naturally and stop adjusting it, it is probably a strong option.

04Build a little range

Choose something familiar, something confident and something that pushes you just a little. Lingerie is welcome, but it is never the only option.

05Send us the questions and maybes

Use your Go Bag or send us photos of anything you are unsure about. We would rather help early than have you carry the stress by yourself.

06Tell us what your body needs

Let us know about injuries, limited mobility, sensitivities or anything that could affect comfort, posing or privacy. We can plan around it.

07Keep hair changes familiar

If you normally cut or color your hair, leave time for adjustments. This is not the best week to test a completely new cut, color or treatment.

THE WEEK LEADING UP

Take care of yourself. Do not overhaul yourself.

The goal is to feel rested, comfortable and like yourself. No crash diets, extreme water challenges or last-minute attempt to become a different version of you.

01Drink water regularly

Stay normally hydrated. You do not need to force an extreme amount. Just do not arrive running on coffee and no water.

02Eat normally

This is not the time to crash diet, cut whole food groups or punish yourself over bloating. Feed yourself in the way that helps you feel steady and good.

03Make room for sleep

A few reasonably rested nights will do more for how you feel than a frantic list of last-minute beauty appointments.

04Stay with familiar skincare

Moisturize with products you already know. Avoid new peels, treatments or aggressive products that could leave your skin irritated.

05Move or stretch if it feels good

Boudoir posing can use muscles you do not expect. A few gentle stretches may help, but only do what is comfortable for your body.

06Check hands, feet and nails

Remove chipped polish or plan a manicure and pedicure if you want one. Your hands and bare feet may appear in more photos than you expect.

07Skip the last-minute spray tan

Fresh tanning products can photograph unevenly or transfer onto clothing. Your natural skin tone is completely welcome here.

THREE TO FIVE DAYS BEFORE

Leave time for your skin to settle.

Everything here is optional. Keep your normal routine and ignore anything that is not already part of how you take care of yourself.

01Wax or sugar only if you normally do

Leave several days for irritation to calm down. There is no expectation that you remove body hair for your session.

02Handle brows early

If you wax, thread or shape your brows, do it early enough that redness has time to settle.

03Exfoliate gently

Keep it light and familiar. Do not scrub skin that is irritated, freshly waxed or sensitive.

04Avoid brand-new treatments

Do not schedule fresh tattoos, microblading, chemical peels or unfamiliar skin treatments right before your session.

05Do one final outfit check

Look for missing pieces, damaged clasps, visible tags, wrinkles and anything that needs to be exchanged or cleaned.

THE NIGHT BEFORE

Pack first. Then let yourself rest.

A calm session morning begins the night before. Take care of the small things now so you are not searching for something on the way out the door.

01Eat dinner and drink some water

Follow your normal routine and skip or limit alcohol. The goal is simply to wake up feeling good.

02Shower and groom however you normally do

Shave only what you normally shave. Moisturize, but avoid heavy oils that could transfer onto clothing.

03Take care of the tiny details

Remove chipped polish, clean the bottoms of your feet and take price tags or stickers off clothing and shoes.

04Steam or hang anything that wrinkles

Put complete looks together so matching pieces are not scattered between different bags.

05Pack the full bag

Include planned looks, the maybes, shoes, jewelry, stockings, accessories and anything personal you want us to consider.

06Check your route and timing

Review the location, drive time and parking. Charge your phone and set an alarm that gives you room to get ready without rushing.

WHAT TO BRING

Your physical Go Bag.

You do not need every item here. Use it as a last check so the things you do want are not sitting at home.

01Planned outfits and all the maybes

Bring complete sets, matching bottoms, bras, removable straps and anything we discussed while planning.

02Shoes, boots and accessories

Include jewelry, stockings, garters, hats, glasses and personal or meaningful pieces.

03Simple touch-up items

Bring a brush or comb, lip balm, clear deodorant, lotion and any makeup you may want for small touch-ups.

04Hair ties and pins

Bring them in the bag. Try not to wear a hair tie around your wrist before or during the session.

05Water and a simple snack

Sessions take energy. Bring something easy that you know sits well with you.

06Anything you normally need

Bring medications or other personal necessities you may need while you are with us.

07Your digital Boudoir Go Bag

Keep the wardrobe guide on your phone so we can look through the ideas and personal photos you saved.

THE DAY OF YOUR SESSION

Show up fed, comfortable and ready to let us help.

You are not expected to arrive fearless or know how to pose. Bring yourself, your bag and whatever nerves came along for the ride. We will guide the rest.

01Eat before you arrive

Please do not show up hungry. Eat something that normally helps you feel steady and continue drinking a normal amount of water.

02Wear loose, comfortable clothing

When possible, avoid tight socks, jeans or a tight bra immediately before the session so they do not leave temporary marks.

03Follow your hair and makeup instructions

Use the directions we send for your specific session. Bring clean glasses if you want them included.

04Leave enough travel time

Arriving rushed makes it harder to settle in. Give yourself a little breathing room.

05Let the nerves come with you

Being nervous does not mean you are not ready. You do not need to practice poses or perform for us.

ONE LAST THING

You do not have to feel ready to be ready.

Nerves are normal. Questions are welcome. Bring the bag, bring yourself and let us help you settle into the experience one step at a time.
